Sponsor Travels to Holy Trinity!
Dear Friends and Supporters,
These photos were taken by a lady named Gloria Hinz. She is a sponsor or "God-Mother" to Josiane - the young lady on the left. Gloria had the opportunity to visit Holy Trinity Institute - the Orphanage in Brazil that Brazil Mission Society helps support - and she was able to spend time with Josiane and celebrate her Confirmation Day! Gloria shares her story of her partnership with Brazil Mission Society...
"Over four years ago, Pastor Tealmo and Carina (who run Holy Trinity Institute) came to the United States and stayed in our home in Wayside, WI. They spoke at our church - Zion Lutheran - about HTI, and how to become a "God-Parent" to these special children. Since then, my husband and I have sponsored two children. I was so excited to be able to travel to HTI and meet my God-Child face to face!"
"I was welcomed with open arms by everyone at HTI and quickly made many friends. I was able to visit the classrooms, and my travel companion, Robin, taught many Bible Studies that week. It was very difficult to leave and say goodbye - but it is my greatest hope to be able to return one day." - Gloria
You may not be able to travel to Brazil like Gloria, but there are many ways to partner with BMS as we work together to build God's Kingdom!
