I f "loving touch" is your love language, it is very important to receive loving, non-sexual touch outside the bedroom. In addition, it is important to receive non-sexual, loving touch from friends and family as well. A big bear hug or a gentle hand on the shoulder from a dear friend can work wonders.

In addition, if "loving touch" is your love language, then if a loved one hits you or causes you physical pain, even if it is in jest, it tends to emotionally wound more than it would to others who do not have physical touch as their love language.

If "Loving Touch" sounds and feels like your love language, then focus this week on noticing if and when your "love tank" feels empty. If you feel like you are not getting enough "Loving Touch" to feel really loved, then take some time to try out the 3 steps to filling your "love tank" -- Create an Intention, Fill Your Own Tank Up, & Communicate Your Needs -- found in Michelle's blog associated with this love language.
