This week, if there is someone you want to have a different experience with, whether it is a friend, a partner, a co-worker, or a boss, look within and see if you are expressing the trait you desire to experience. If you want to experience more compassion, look to see if you are expressing compassion towards them. If you want to experience more acceptance, look to see where you are or are not being accepting of others. Practice being the traits you wish to see and just see what unfolds...   - Namaste, Michelle

Gratitude for heat and hot water

  

As many of you know, though I live out in California, I was born and raised on the east coast. As a result, most of my family and many of my clients were right in the heart of Hurricane Sandy. I am so grateful to report they are all safe with homes intact, but none the less this particular experience of contrast has had a powerful effect on many of them.

 

One of my clients, Deborah, has been without power in her house for over a week. When we connected she had developed a head cold and was pretty drained by the whole experience of the hurricane. Yet at the same time, I could see and feel an opening occurring in her through this harrowing experience. She expressed a growing awareness that only an experience like this can elicit.    →Read More in Michelle's blog
