Spiritual Nourishment
An inspirational quote to support you throughout the week
10/29/12

"Part of the learning process of the soul while we are here [in physical life] requires a sufficient amount of time learning what DOESN'T serve us (based on untruth) in order to more fully appreciate what DOES serve us (based on TRUTH). So, the solution, awareness, or experience of one's Truth will not come until one is vibrationally ready to receive it. This simply means you have had enough time experiencing the negative that you are now ready to really embody the Truth that it caused you to ask for."

This week, take some time to honor all the "so called" negative experiences you have had in your past recognizing the immense value they have had for your soul's growth.  In addition, if there is a negative experience that is still showing up, instead of judging yourself about it, practice honoring it as just part of the learning process.  Remember, there is no hurry in the soul's growth.  All stages in the process are perfect and honored.  - Namaste, Michelle

Ask Coach Michelle - Craving things that don't serve us

Dear Coach Michelle,

Why do we crave things that are bad for us? Cigarettes, alcohol, fried foods, refined sugar. If these things are so clearly bad for the body, why does it crave them?

Sincerely, Craving Questioner

______________________________________________________

Dear Craving Questioner,

We crave things that are "bad for us", which simply means they don't serve us in some way (in your example, they don't serve the health of your body), because there is another way in which they DO serve you. And in this case, the way that thing DOES serve you is currently more predominant in your vibration than the way that it doesn't.

So, for example, with alcohol, it may be that the desire for escape in that moment is stronger than the concern for how your body will feel the next day.    →Read More in Michelle's blog
