"How do we ACTUALLY get rid of emotional pain?  Have you ever heard the expression, "What you resist persists"?  Well the same is true when it comes to our emotional pain. The more we push it away, the more powerful it gets.  It is unawareness that feeds it.  To truly release emotional pain, you have to bring it to the light.  You have to let it bubble to the surface, move its way through your body, and allow it to release naturally without judgment or story.

This weekallow yourself to more fully feel an emotion you have been pushing down without judging it in any way.  Approach it with love, compassion, maybe even curiosity.  Notice how it feels in your body, where it lives in the body.  And most importantly practice feeling the emotion without believing the story behind it is true.  This is the key to truly releasing emotional pain instead of feeding it.  - Namaste, Michelle

Affirmations for work/life balance

  

I often am asked by clients or workshop participants about how to create affirmations that really work.  Affirmations are tricky because it is not the words that assist in shifting one's consciousness into a more allowing state of being as much as the vibration they elicit within.

 

An affirmation needs to open you up to a different possibility around the subject in mind. It needs to raise your vibration above where you currently are. At the same time if you try to raise your frequency too far (ex. I am pure bliss all the time!), then the desire can feel out of reach and that can actually drop your vibration.

 

What you are reaching for in an affirmation is to open to the vibration just a little above your current vibration around the subject. Something that feels doable, realistic, possible.   →Read More in Michelle's blog
