I saw on craigslist about a modeling gig, and since I had been interested in showing off some modeling skills, I decided to try it. I later found out it was nude modeling, and even though I was nervous, I did it anyway. The guy I was dating went with me to keep me safe, but I couldn't help feeling like this was very wrong. I quieted my conscience and finished the shoot. That got my start with nude modeling. It only took me about 3 or 4 months to make my first nude magazine cover and centerfold. I shot for a couple who tried to rape me, and the man severely hurt me, and because I had signed a "model release" form. I couldn't press any charges.
 The money in modeling wasn't enough and I was offered a job as a paid "extra" in a porn video in Miami. I talked it over with my boyfriend and he thought it was cool. I wanted so bad to impress him and we needed the money, so I agreed to do it. I ended up doing more than what I was there to do, and felt so dirty afterwards. However, a few weeks later, I was offered a real job doing a shoot with someone who said they could make me a lot of money. I agreed to go, and it wasn't so bad the first time. I had another female talent on set with me, and she made me feel better about what was going to go down. She told me all about the porn life and how good I could do. I caught Gonorrhea, and was told that if I didn't tell anyone I could still work because I had not been tested by a testing center so no one would know. I got genital herpes and was hospitalized because I didn't know that was what I had. I could not afford to go to the doctor when the signs showed up, because all my money was going towards paying to stay at the model house and paying for my food and personal needs for shoots. One night I was in severe pain and tried to use Balmex to help soothe it, and it started to burn like crazy and bleed. My driver took me to the hospital where I was diagnosed with herpes and told that the medicine I needed to help me was $400 for the crème to sooth it, and $110 for the pills to keep the symptoms away. This is our 7th year of delivering Christmas boxes and we want to make it a "Pink" Christmas for women trapped in porn and prostitution.
We are in great need of pink scarves, hats, Christmas ornaments and candy, Christmas wrapping paper and stockings, Pink Bibles, Walmart and Target gift cards and beauty supplies.
Please help us reach out to these precious women at the time of year when they are most depressed and even suicidal. Many tell us when they receive a Christmas box from Pink Cross that it was the ONLY gift they received!

PINK CROSS NEEDS VOLUNTEERS!
Use your skills and talents to help us! Our current needs are:
- We need experienced graphic designers to help us create promotional material.
- We need experienced video editors to help us edit video of ex porn stars telling the truth about porn. For the past few years, the President has been doing most of the editing but time does not allow. Please help us!
- We need supplies such as homemade scarves and gifts, beauty supplies, perfumes and body lotion to hand out at outreaches to women trapped in porn and prostitution.
- We need Pink Bibles!
- We need Target, Walmart and Publix grocery cards to help women get food. Believe it or not many are homeless and go hungry. Women request food cards all of the time but we have none to give right now!
- We need major finances. 2013 been the hardest year for us since 2007 but there are more women than ever coming to us for help!! The president hasn't even taken a normal paycheck due to the lack of funds. Yet the president does 85% of the work!
- We need finances to pay our part time assistants who without them Pink Cross would not be here. That costs about $1,500 a month. Please give your best. Our small staff spends many hours finding resources for the women we help.
- We need finances to pay for our monthly web site bill which is about $350.00 a month. Please help us keep the web site maintained as we reach millions of people a month!
- Outreaches. We need finances to print pamphlets, flyers and banners. We need DVD-Rs to create more free DVDs of ex porn star testimonies to hand out. We need Pink or Black Bibles and worship CDs, recovery books, and journals. We need finances to rent a booth, support for our missionaries for hotels and food. Outreaches usually cost about $5,000 to reach thousands of people including porn addicts and porn stars. We use to do outreaches every other month and now we can't because we don't have enough funds.
