As one of California's largest community development organizations Jamboree builds high quality affordable apartment communities that strengthen neighborhoods, create jobs, infuse revenue into the local economy, provide California residents with an opportunity to live near where they work and enhance the quality of their lives with free on site resident services and programs offered at our communities.
Each community is designed to serve the specific needs of the residents who live there whether it is families, seniors or a special needs population. The community amenities often include kitchens, meeting rooms and tutoring centers, computer labs, laundry facilities, fitness centers, swimming pools, tot lots, sports courts, community gardens, barbecues and outdoor dining areas.
Our Resident Services Group, comprised of HOMES, Inc. and Housing with Heart, provides residents with workshops and classes for both children, adults, seniors and families that focus on exercise, healthy cooking, tax preparation, neighborhood safety, arts and crafts, parenting, education, after school tutoring, summer programs and so much more. Our Resident Services Coordinators have organized health clinics, neighborhood clean ups, public safety meetings with the local Police Department, outreach programs such as the Linus Project, Jamboree Day, Mountain Respite Camp, National Night Out; the list continues to grow.
We are creating a sense of community on every level. In the homes we build, the residents who choose to live at our properties, and the staff who work every day to make our mission a reality.
