The Tradies Makers of Murrumbateman Moving Feast 2015

Tantalise your taste buds on the October long weekend.
The Tradies Murrumbateman Moving Feast offers a weekend of local wines matched with scrumptious food.
Plan your Moving Feast, s pend your weekend roving from winery to winery, indulging in delicious food and wine and taking in the beautiful countryside along the way. Participating wineries and venues dotted throughout Murrumbateman will wow you with fine food matched with their nationally and internationally recognised wines. For $20 savoury fare and $15 desserts, each winery will present a tasting plate "signature dish" matched to one of their wines. Wines are presented in a souvenir engraved glass for you to collect along the way. 
Flint at Shaw Vineyard will be offering Spanish white bean & ham hock stew with chorizo, morcilla & garden parsley served with our 2015 Estate Riesling.

Winemakers Monday
Monday 5 October 2015
As part of the Tradies Makers of Murrumbateman Moving Feast 'Winemakers Monday' is a day dedicated to the tasting and sales of the wonderful local wines and an opportunity to meet and chat to the winemakers at each cellar door - after the bustle of the moving feast has finished.
Our Cellar Door will be open from 10am to 5pm on Monday the 5th of October 2015.

Mary Christina Exhibition
Saturday 3 October to Monday 5 October 2015
During the Murrumbateman Moving Feast, held this October Long Weekend we will be hosting a unique exhibition by Mary Christina in our Shearing Shed Gallery.
UK-born artist Mary Christina lived in Italy for a decade before settling in Canberra in 2008. Inspired by her travels and Mediterranean colours Mary Christina uses various mediums and methods to splash some life and colour into her creations.
Passionate about both antique wooden furniture and painting, Mary Christina revamps, restores and reinvents furniture with artistic flair creating delightful and unique pieces.
Each piece of furniture is one-of-a-kind. To celebrate each item of re-fashioned furniture, each piece is complemented by original abstract artwork creating a cohesive look between old and new.

Vino Paradiso
6 November to 8 November 2015
For three days this spring, Vino Paradiso: Wine & Food Festival will transform one of Australia's most spectacular locations, The Rocks, into a paradise of wine, food, craft beer, cider and spirits. From November 6 - 8, 2015, Vino Paradiso will take visitors on an interactive journey of discovery, through a maze of over 130 stalls, including 80 wineries from 30 iconic Australian wine regions, exploring the world's best food and beverage producers and labels of international renown. Latest Medal Haul
We have had great success in recent wine shows, receiving 9 Gold Medals & 6 Silver Medals. The results of the AWC Wine Challenge in Vienna includes a Gold Medal for our 2013 Reserve Merriman Merlot which is now up for a Trophy after reaching "Top 3" status in it's category. The AWC Wine Challenge is the largest officially recognised wine competition in the world with over 12,000 entries last year. The award wining wines are:
