Wine & Cheese experience for 2
Cheese & wine in the heart of the Canberra Wine Region... what's not to love!
Treat yourself to a wine tasting at Cellar Door where you will be guided through the Estate range of wines. Choose your personal favourite and enjoy a glass on the lounge with a cheese platter.
Cost: $30 (Includes a wine tasting for two, a cheese platter to share and two glasses of wine).

The Summerside Festival is held during the month of February, it celebrates everything good about summer in the Canberra region - with dining events celebrating local and seasonal produce, opportunities to taste the best of the region's wines, as well as innovative and exciting performances, events and exhibitions.

Every Friday in February
This Summerside the East Hotel is once again playing host to a number of local wineries. Every Friday during February, a handful of the regions finest wineries will head to Kingston to peddle their wares the old fashioned way; taste and talk.
Change your usual Friday night routine and head to East Hotel to taste a great selection of local wines. Wines can also be purchased on the evening so pick your favourites to take out to dinner afterwards and impress all your friends with a great local wine.
This special event will run every Friday night during Summerside Festival. Friday 6, 13, 20 and 27 February and include wineries such as, Shaw Vineyard Estate, Mount Majura Vineyard, Wily Trout, Lerida Estate and more to be announced!

Macbeth - Shakespeare in the Vines

Essential Theatre proudly celebrates thirteen years on the road with 'Shakespeare in the Vines'.
Macbeth is undoubtedly one of Shakespeare's most powerful and popular works and Essential Theatre is excited to be preforming on the Shaw Vineyard Estate grounds, hosted by Flint at Shaw Vineyard.
Tempted by the prophecies of three mysterious witches, Macbeth's ambition to be King of Scotland leads him into a nightmarish world of evil, deceit and murder. This classic tale of power, superstition and madness will be like nothing audiences have seen from Essential Theatre. In a time where people are hooked on Game of Thrones and House of Cards - where ambition drives decisions at any cost, Essential Theatre take it back to where it all began. Macbeth will be raw, edgy and entertaining.
As the sun sets, the dark night approaches and the witches come out to play, let yourself be taken on this tremendous journey.

Join us for the best Wine and Food Festival of the year! Tasting tents, meet the winemaker, food-matching sessions, an artisan food producers' market and live music complete the perfect weekend in the park.
Shaw Vineyard Estate will be exhibiting again in 2015, come along and see us and try our Estate range of wines.

Time: Friday 4pm-10pm, Saturday 11am-9pm, Sunday 11am-6pm
Glasses and wine tasting tokens are purchased at the Hyde Park entrance gates on the day.
