DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL STATUS

Approval has been received from Roads and Maritime Services NSW (RMS) for the design of the new intersection works along the Barton Highway, the main site access.

Discussions with Council indicate that the certificate to commence roadworks for stage 1 will be issued any day now.  Once this is issued works are expected to commence within the next two weeks.

Site establishment has commenced with temporary access roads and connections to services now complete.

Sales are progressing well with purchasers being a mix of private buyers and builders, all keen to become part of the growing Murrumbateman community.

MEET THE LOCALS

David and Chris Laird

The Publicans, Murrumbateman Country Inn

Murrumbateman Country Inn was the first hotel Dave and Chris visited and immediately loved the place. It has a great atmosphere, big open fires for the winter and large verandahs for the summer.

The Murrumbateman Country Inn is family friendly and the hub of the local community. Dave and Chris are the friendly locals you would call family. Every child born within the pub family has a star with their name on it, to put on the Christmas tree.

It is the community spirit, which Dave and Chris love about Murrumbateman. When there is a good cause to raise money or a member of the community needs help, everyone pulls together.

Meet more locals........
