Dear Friends,
Our annual Martin Luther King Day Girls Ski Trip is going on now!Our girls are currently enjoying beautiful accommodations in Camp Nageela, delicious food and indoor swimming.
We are anticipating an incredible day here on the slopes of the Catskills skiing and snowtubing! Pictures to come in the next newsletter.
Save the date for our annual Camp Reunion Shabbaton on February 1-2. See below for more information. We can't wait to see all the 2012 campers there!
Registration for Camp Nageela 2013 is well underway at this time. We are very excited that many campers will be returning and are looking forward to getting to know the many first-time campers that have registered for what we know will be an incredible summer. Don't forget to tell your friends at home about Camp Nageela and earn a $100 referral credit for each new camper referred.
The Yetta Broitman Camp Nageela Scholarship Fund deadline is rapidly approaching. Please note that the deadline to apply is January 31. Please contact our office to request an application should you be requiring financial assistance for Camp Nageela 2013.

2013 Grants and Scholarship Opportunities
 Camp Nageela East is excited to share an exclusive opportunity with you for first-time campers to attend camp this summer for as low as $795*, regardless of financial need!! YES it's true!! This final cost will remain after receiving the two grants described below.
*First time campers from Long Island may be eligible to come for as low as $495!

 All first-time campers are reminded to apply for a first-time campers grant of $1000 towards the camp tuition. Please visit www.onehappycamper.org to apply now. Eligiblity requirements are that the child has never attended a Jewish overnight camp for 19 days and goes to a public school or non-Jewish private school.  Grants of up to $500 are available now through Partners in Torah/Jewish Rewards. To receive this grant, a parent of the camper joins Partners in Torah for 14 sessions by phone. $250 will be awarded for each parent that joins. Click here for more information and to sign up today! This application is open to both new and returning Nageela families to receive up to $500*. *First-time campers from Long Island may be eligible to receive up to $800 through Partners in Torah. Reminder: The Yetta Broitman Scholarship Fund is now accepting applications. Please contact our office to request an application. Camp Nageela is committed to securing financial assistance to allow every Jewish child to enjoy the camp experience. Applications are due January 31.

Travel Information for Camp
|
|
 Camp Nageela organizes round-trip bus transportation from New York and New Jersey for campers from the tri-state area. For campers from further locations, Camp Nageela arranges round-trip transportation to and from JFK airport. Campers flying in to JFK airport should book flights arriving on the first day of camp between 8 and 10 am and departing on the last day of camp between 5 and 7 pm. Should you need to book a flight outside of these times please contact us before booking.
Camp Nageela arranges a group flight for all girls from Florida. To join, please book the following flights.
Departing Flight on June 26: JetBlue flight 1502 leaving FLL at 6:00 am and landing in JFK at 8:44 am.
Return Flight on July 22: JetBlue flight 1801 leaving JFK at 4:15 pm and landing in FLL at 7:31 pm.
As of January 20, this flight is available for $232 round-trip and includes 1 checked bag in each direction.
We highly recommend that all families book flights as soon as possible to get the best possible rates.
