Appreciation Luncheon & Listening Session on the Future of St. Anne's
We are having three "Appreciation Luncheons" during the month of November. These will be a chance for the clergy and vestry of St. Anne's to say thank you to the people who make St. Anne's such a warm, welcoming, and thriving community. Vestry and clergy will also lead a discussion about the future of St. Anne's. We have sent out an e-mail invitation for our first luncheon happening this Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in the Great Hall. If we don't have a correct e-mail address for you or if it landed in your spam folder please know that we really want everyone to join us if they can. Please RSVP to Susan if you are part of our worship related ministries and are able to join us this Sunday. E-mail invitations for the other ministries will go out shortly.
The three luncheons are divided into the following ministries:
November 9 at 1:00 p.m. in the Great Hall: Worship-related Ministries (Ushers, Lay Readers, Chalice Bearers, Flower Guild, Altar Guild, and Adult Choirs, etc.)

Give the Gift of Warmth this Christmas
Being homeless is hard any time of year, but especially at Christmas. St. Anne's is working with the nearby Church of the Epiphany to provide a hypothermia shelter Christmas week. This is an extremely volunteer-intensive effort, and the shelter needs as much help as it can get. Please give from your heart to provide the least fortunate among us with the gift of warmth this Christmas. Friends or family visiting? Bring them with you and create a new family tradition! Must be 18 or over. Click here to reserve your time slot. For more information contact David Safford (202-494-3041).
