Sport & Entertainment Management Lecture Series

The speakers at the Jan. 13 and 14 lecture series include the co-founder of BET and the first African-American woman billionaire, one of the most powerful sports agents in NBA history, the co-founder of Carnegie Mellon's "Dream Fulfillment Factory," and the CEO of the production company for some of the most famous entertainment experiences in the world. Competition teaches students realities of supply chains

 

Students pursuing the new supply chain management concentration for undergraduate students at the USF Muma College of Business might go in thinking that they can't gain firsthand experience in supply chains outside of a real-world internship. But, the opposite is true. Read more.

 

 

 

T. Rowe Price executive talks tech to ISDS students

When Steve Sullivan joined T. Rowe Price in 1987, he worked in a small department -- about 40 people in a firm of about 400. Now, Sullivan heads T. Rowe Price's Global Technology Services Division of more than 500 associates working globally, and the jobs in his division are some of the most critical roles in the company. Read more.

 

 

Marketing students help Tampa International Airport with website launch

Two sections of Assistant Professor Rob Hooker's market research class spent several weeks working with Tampa International Airport on the launch of its new website. At the end of the semester, students pulled together their findings and strategic recommendations and presented them to a team of airport management. Read more.
