Vanderlyn Registration and Meet & Greet
Welcome, Vanderlyn Kindergarten Families!

Please plan to attend these important events:

REGISTRATION will be held on Wednesday, August 7

from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

and

MEET and GREET your Kindergarten teacher on

Friday, August 9 from 1 to 2 p.m.

(You will receive your child's classroom assignment and will be able to meet the teacher, as well as deliver your child's school supplies to his/her classroom.)

All new Vanderlyn students must bring the following documents to registration on Wednesday, August 7.  These documents are required even if you pre-registered your student:

  • Your child's original birth certificate
  • Current proof of residency, including one (1) utility bill (gas, water or electric only) OR a Deed or Signed Lease
  • Immunization form 3231 (available from your healthcare provider)
  • Vision, Hearing and Dental form 3300 (available from your healthcare provider)
  • Child's social security card, if you wish to provide the social security number
  • Parental photo ID

Registration day is also the time to pay your child's class dues and field trip expenses, purchase the yearbook and spirit wear, and support the Annual Fund. Total expenses typically total between $90 and $300.   Be prepared that these expenses can add up quickly.  Bring your checkbook, credit card and/or cash.

Bring your student's school supplies to his/her classroom at the Meet and Greet on Friday.  The students that ordered school supply kits may pick them up on Friday for classroom delivery. Click here to obtain a list of necessary school supplies on the Vanderlyn PTA website.
