Teacher Appreciation Week
| We are excited to present our teachers with a great week of pampering and fun! We need a little help from you to make it all come together.
Here's what we need from you:
1. Write a note from your family to your child's teacher. The paper was sent home to you in the VIP on May 2. Please take the weekend to work on this assignment and send it back in the envelope provided on Monday, May 6. The Teacher Appreciation Coordinator will collect them and present the collection to the teacher!
2. We are going to make a Summer Reading Room for the faculty and staff. If you can donate books or magazines to this cause we will send our teachers off with some new material to enjoy over the summer. We are looking for all kinds of titles and genres. The books may be gently used. We have both male and female teachers with all kinds of interests - biking, running, sports, arts, music, cooking, travel etc.... A Teacher Appreciation Representative will be located inside the front of the school beginning at 7:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday next week to collect the reading items.
Here's a quick overview of what awaits the teachers: Theme: Thanks, You're a Peach! Monday: Teachers will receive a peach basket filled with goodies Tuesday: Southern breakfast in the Conference complete with biscuits! Wednesday: Snack bar provided during the Faculty Meeting Thursday: Summer Fun Reading Room open for teachers to select some material Friday: Fantastic Southern Lunch including BBQ, Fried Chicken and topped with Peach Cobbler. The teachers all receive a special gift and gift card. Back by popular demand the gift card raffle. The teachers loved this!
Thanks for you support and remember to say, "Hey, teacher! We appreciate you!"
