Ridgefield's Food Scrap Recycling Program: Information Session and Q&A
Join us for an informational program about the new organics recycling program offered in Ridgefield. The Town of Ridgefield, in collaboration with the Housatonic Resources Recovery Authority and Winters Bros., is pleased to announce a new recycling program for food scraps. The food scraps will be taken to New England Compost in Danbury and will be made into compost. Ridgefield will be a leader in the state for waste reduction. More food reaches landfills and incinerators than any other single material in municipal solid waste, nationwide - so come and find out more about this important new program. Please register.
