Wednesday, May 18, 7:00 PM
Main Program Room
Author Talk with Neil Abramson
Neil Abramson will read from and discuss his latest novel, Just Life, followed by questions from the audience.  A book sale and signing will take place after the event thanks to Books on the Common. As he did in his debut novel Unsaid, with Just Life Neil Abramson delves into the connection between people and animals, this time presenting a compelling question:  what would you do if the authorities deemed your pet a safety hazard-would you give him up without  question? And would you be willing to break the law in the name of doing what you know in your heart is right?

Neil Abramson is a partner in a Manhattan law firm, and his wife is a veterinarian. Abramson is also a past board member of the Animal Legal Defense Fund, an award recipient from the ASPCA for his legal work on behalf of animals, and a founding member of the New York City Bar Association Committee on Legal Issues Relating to Animals.

This program is co-sponsored by the Library, Books on the Common and ROAR. Please register.
