Job Opening @ The Library
| Teen Services Librarian (F/T) sought for Ridgefield Library Adult Services department. We are looking for a dynamic, teen-savvy individual, with youth-focused collection development, reference, reader's advisory and programming experience to work in our sunny, new Teen Center. Strong interpersonal and technology skills a must for outreach and partnerships, as well as running our 10 year old Teen Advisory Group. Duties also include adult reference and technology instruction. MLS required (or near completion). Letter, resume and 3 professional references to Leslie Vuilleumier at mlvuill@ridgefieldlibrary.org by May 20.

Please do not use the REQUEST IT feature in our online catalog to request items from Ridgefield or other Bibliomation libraries. Instead, please go to any service desk in the library, and our staff will be happy to assist you.

The Ridgefield Library's photography group meets monthly to discuss their craft and/or head out on their many field trips. They usually meet at the Library parking lot at 9 AM. New members are always welcome. Trading Card Game Club People in grades 6 - 12 who enjoy trading card games such as Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh! are invited to come play on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month at the Library. The club is run by middle school students who are fans of the games. Current players of the games will find people to play against, and those who are interested but have never played are welcome to come and learn. This is a drop-in program, no registration required.
