It's Computer Science Education Week
December 7-13 is Computer Science Education Week, and we're celebrating with lots of ways for you to learn about coding, no matter your age or experience level.  The Hour of Code is an interactive online introduction to computer programming.  Ridgefield kids are doing it in the schools - here's your chance!

You can try it yourself at ridgefieldcodes.org or take advantage of our Open Coding Lab sessions in the Donofrio Family Technology Center, where a staff person will be available to help you get started.
Wednesday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Thursday 2:00 - 4:00 PM
Friday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

We also have special sessions for seniors, parents and others. Check the full schedule for details. Many sessions are full already but there are still a few openings in others.

Stop by on Saturday, December 12 between 1:00 and 4:00 PM for our STEAM Showcase to see all the cool coding activities being done at the Library and at the public and private schools in town. Raffle prizes, demos, 3D printing, robotics and more!
