Holiday Closings and Service Interruptions

Our catalog and circulation systems will be offline for scheduled maintenance from 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 3rd through 9:00 AM on Monday, July 7th. There will be no remote access to the catalog or patron accounts, which means you will not be able to reserve or renew items. Some databases that require a library card number for authentication may not be accessible.

New Exhibit Opens in The Gallery

Pop-Art Portraits by Roy Weinstein

In conjunction with the town's Ridgefield Rewinds Summer Fest '64 events this July, the Library will host an exhibit of Pop-Art Portraits by local photographer and artist Roy Weinstein.  The exhibition will run from July 2 through July 29.  An Artist's Reception will take place on Tuesday, July 8 between 5 and 7 PM. 

 

Roy Weinstein has been creating "Warhole style" custom pop art portraits since 1998. He has been a professional photographer and graphic artist for over 20 years and is a member of the Art Directors Club of New York and the National Press Photographers Association. Many of his photographs have been published in magazines and newspapers throughout the country including the New York Times, USA Today, Newsday, and Chicago Tribune.

The 2015 Intermediate Nutmeg Nominees are here and we want to get together with you to talk about them!!!  Join Children's Services Librarian Mary Beth Rassulo each week to discuss a selected nominee.  Bring your lunch and we'll eat and discuss great books!  This week's title:  Spy School by Stuart Gibbs.  Copies of the book are available in the Lodewick Children's Library. For children in grades 4-6.
