Interim Library Location Closing Thursday

The new Ridgefield Library is nearly complete, and the time has come for our move into our new (and old) home at 472 Main Street, after 19 months of residence in our temporary location in the former HayDay/Balducci's building.

We will be closing up shop on Governor Street at the end of the day on Thursday, April 17 and will open again on Saturday, May 10 at the new Library, during Opening Weekend. Stop by this week to stock up on reading, viewing and listening materials, and click here for more information about what this temporary interruption in some library services may mean for you.

Please note that some adult and children's programs will be held at alternate locations during this period.  Check our event calendar for details.

Countdown to Opening Weekend May 9 through 11

You can chart our progress towards this exciting occasion by following our online countdown. Visit ridgefieldlibrary.org, subscribe to the What's New with the New Ridgefield Library blog, check us out on Facebook or follow us on Twitter @ridgefieldlib for our daily status and a fun fact about the Library - past, present or future.

It's National Library Week April 13-19
