Film Screening:  Larry Aldrich-In His Own Words  

Don't miss this opportunity to gain insights into the life of Larry Aldrich, founder of the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, which is celebrating itw 50th anniversary. Hear in his own words about his move to and love for Ridgefield, the Museum's founding, and classic stories about the art and artists he so admired.  Filmed on the occasion of The Aldrich's 25th anniversary in 1989, this is the only existing video footage of Mr. Aldrich talking about his life and passion for art.

The Ridgefield Library's photography group meets monthly to discuss their craft and/or head out on their many field trips. They will meet in the parking lot at 21 Governor Street at 9:00 to then go out on field trips.

New members are always welcome.  Please contact Mary Harold at 438-7350 or email ridgefieldshutterbugs@yahoo.com if you are interested in joining the group and to find out the location of the field trips. 
It's Time for Spring Cleaning!
The Library can help you dig out and spruce up after this long winter. And you'll be helping to support your favorite Library programs and services at the same time.

Recent additions to the Library Wish List include"Bigshot" Digital Camera Kits and "LeapPad Ultra" handheld tablet computers with multimedia educational software for youngsters. Choose from dozens of items at giving levels from $50 to $15,000.  You can browse the entire list on our website.
