Growing Herbs and Kitchen Gardens with Master Gardener Donna Katsuranis

In this fun, informative evening, Donna Katsuranis will talk to us about growing some of our own consumables - be they herbs, veggies, or fruit - without being a slave to the garden. Donna Katsuranis is an Interfaith Minister and an Advanced Master Gardener who lectures and guides walks year-round on garden and nature-related subjects. During the warm season, she also coaches individual gardeners on how to bring their Garden ideas to life - be they Flower Beds, Lawns, Veggie gardens, Herb patches, Wildflower meadows, Trees or Shrubs. Please register as space is limited.

On the New Ridgefield Library's Facebook page, you'll find a bright green photo offering daily "prompts" - ideas to inspire you. Take a photo of your interpretation of the suggestion and share your photo using social media.  You can use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Flickr, your own blog...the choice is up to you! But when you share your photo, please add the hashtag #ridgefieldlibpix so that the rest of us who are playing can follow along and see all the photos inspired by the prompt.
