Doug Hayden, president and senior technician at CT PC Tech (formerly CT PC Exchange), graduated from WCSU in 1990 with a B.A. in Computer Science. He worked at General Electric and IBM in analysis and programming and then focused on smaller companies and a mix of software / hardware duties. He continually researches the technology news to keep current. CT PC Tech  has been servicing Fairfield and Westchester County computer needs for all Microsoft and Apple systems since 1989. No registration.

ARTalk: Neoclassical Goddesses with Richard Ventre

ARTalk: Neoclassical Goddesses with Richard Ventre 
Ventre's presentation will feature imagery associated with the goddess Diana and the Hunt. Ventre will give a painting demomstration and talk about his use of the photomontage technique - a unique combination of photographic, digital and painterly elements.  Prior to developing a body of work as a visual artist, Ventre was a scenic artist for the theater, television and motion pictures--including work for the Metropolitan Opera. This ARTalk is sponsored by the Ridgefield Library and The Ridgefield Guild of Artists. Please register.

Into the Woods 

Into the Woods is a brilliant Stephen Sondheim musical which blends fairy tale characters while adding a Baker and his wife who become the focal characters of this unfolding story as they try to reverse a curse which has been cast upon them by a witch, rendering them barren. The cast is made up of trained 10th through 12th graders, accompanied by a professional seven piece orchestra.
