Ancona's is raising glasses and raising funds for the Ridgefield Library. Join us on Sunday, September 8 for a record setting event! Mitch Ancona, of Ancona's Wines, will attempt to beat the world record for most bottles of Champagne opened with a sabre in one minute. Proceeds will benefit The Ridgefield Library.

|  Thursday, September 5, 7:00 PM Keeler Tavern Museum Author Talk with George HancockRidgefielder George Hancock will discuss his latest book, A Killing at the Inn, a fictional tale of Ridgefield set in the years 1858 through 1862. The program will take place where it is set - at the Keeler Tavern Museum! George Hancock has been a student of history for most of his life. He is an historic re-enactor, having portrayed the character of Timothy Keeler, noted Ridgefield citizen and barkeep. He is a frequent volunteer guide at the Keeler Tavern Museum and is a member the Ridgefield Historical Society. Please register. Drop-in Children's Programs this Week

 Tuesday, 10:00 AM or 11:00 AM, Library Program Room
Mother Goose Drop in for fingerplays, music, movement and a book! For ages birth through age 2 years accompanied by an adult. No registration required during the summer months! Tuesday, 4:30 PM, Library Program Room Junior Critics Children in grades 4 & 5 get together to share the books they've been reading. Snacks are served. Tuesday, 6:00 PM, Library Program Room Scrabble Play scrabble with a tournament experienced teacher. For children in grades 4 - 8. Friday 11:00 AM, Library Program Room Friday Flicks Movies based on favorite children's books for ages 2 and older.
Saturday 10:30 AM, Library Program Room Drop-In Storytime Children ages 3 and up are invited for stories and more.
