It's time for the annual street fair on Main Street and environs presented by the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce.  Come on down for shopping, crafts, food, entertainment and more.

Library Artist Jamison Odone Opens New Exhibit
Jamison odone poster Ridgefield Library regulars will know the work of author/illustrator Jamison Odone from our "designer" library card, numerous guest appearances at storytimes, the children's pages on our website and Summer Reading graphics from several years back.

Jamie invites all his Ridgefield friends to visit his new exhibit at the Mercurial Gallery at 11 Library Place in Danbury, running from July 13th through August 16th, with a special opening reception Saturday, July 20th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.  Learn more.

Taking and Editing Digital Photographs  
There are more ways to take photos than ever before. If you carry a phone you're also carrying a camera, and there's a renaissance of design happening in the world of digital cameras.  This talk will give an overview of digital imaging -- from capturing images to the various ways that you can process and share them on line. We'll take a look the various types of cameras and some of the software available to create photos.

This program is part of our Adult Summer Reading program and is made possible thanks to the Friends of the Library. No registration.

Shop Local: Find Waldo Here!
Find Waldo Here Throughout the month of July, twenty-five Ridgefield businesses, including the Ridgefield Library, are hiding that world traveler Waldo, and Ridgefield children are invited to seek him out all over town.

Children can get a Find Waldo Passport at the first place they spot Waldo, then find him in other stores, and collect stamps from all the businesses where Waldo is hiding. Books on the Common will give prizes to players who find at least 10 different Waldos, and the bookstore will hold a Waldo Party on Wednesday July 31.
