Author Talk with B.A. Shapiro  
B.A. Shapiro is the author of The Art Forger, a literary thriller about the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum heist that spans three centuries of forgers, art thieves, and obsessive collectors. Writing as Barbara Shapiro, she is also the author of five suspense novels:  The Safe Room, Blind Spot, See No Evil, Blameless and Shattered Echoes, as well as the non-fiction book, The Big Squeeze.

This program is presented by Books on the Common, The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum and the Ridgefield Library. It is part of the Library's Adult Summer Reading program, made possible thanks to the Friends of the Library. No registration.

The Ridgefield Library's photography group meets monthly to discuss their craft and/or head out on their many field trips. They will meet in the parking lot at 21 Governor Street at 9:00 AM to then go out on field trips.  Please contact Mary Harold at 203-438-7350 or e-mail ridgefieldshutterbugs@yahoo.com if you are interested in joining the group and to find out the location of the field trips. New members are always welcome.

Find Waldo Here Throughout the month of July, twenty-five Ridgefield businesses, including the Ridgefield Library, are hiding that world traveler Waldo, and Ridgefield children are invited to seek him out all over town.

Children can get a Find Waldo Passport at the first place they spot Waldo, then find him in other stores, and collect stamps from all the businesses where Waldo is hiding. Books on the Common will give prizes to players who find at least 10 different Waldos, and the bookstore will hold a Waldo Party on Wednesday July 31.
