Workshop: Energy Literacy and Classic Homes
Ridgefield Library, Ridgefield Historical Society, Keeler Tavern Museum and Ridgefield's Neighbor to Neighbor Energy Challenge are pleased to sponsor this historic homes workshop, featuring energy experts from Next Step Living.  The presentation will help owners of historic and classic homes figure out where to start making energy efficiencies improvements.  New upgrades that pay for themselves create greater comfort in both summer and winter and reduce energy waste, without compromising the intrinsic historical integrity of the building. Summer Readers Will Meet Up for MOOC
This year's Summer Reading Program for adults will feature 'The Fiction of Relationship," a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) from Coursera, taught by Dr. Arnold Weinstein of Brown University. It's cutting edge, it's educational, it's interactive - and we hope it will be fun!

We will view together Dr. Weinstein's lectures and discuss the assigned reading.  To participate, we ask that you register with both the Library and Coursera.
