Ridgefield Library Raises $15,238,935 from Nearly 1,300 Donors

We are thrilled that we have surpassed the $15 million private fundraising goal in our Campaign for the New Ridgefield Library. Achieving this has taken the combined efforts of many people and nearly 1,300 donors. Crossing this threshold upholds the private fundraising commitment associated with the passing f the referendum last March. Town funds of $5 million will be released to the Library at the point in time when the cash on hand has been spent by the Library. This is estimated to happen later this fall. We will continue to actively fundraise for costs associated with the roll-out of the New Library, including things such as: advanced technology, relocation and interim operations, permits, marketing and fundraising and other costs in addition to bricks and mortar. Our goal is to raise an additional $2.8 million to cover these costs. Here's how you can help. It's easy to become part of the Campaign for the New Ridgefield Library and ensure the success of this exciting project.
