Salmon Bay Track Trophy
The Salmon Bay Middle school track team brought home the first place trophy last weekend for the K8 division for the Seattle Metro Track finals. Salmon Bay was 4th overall in the entire K8 and comprehensive middle school standings. That is awesome! Our 7th grade boys team (Diego S, Zenon T, Owen G, Keegan P) took first place in the 4 x 100 meter race and Kai Gundlach and Jill Philbin both took first place in the 800 and 1600. We had over 25 kids running at the district final, racing for Salmon Bay. The season was hot. The kids ran fast. Salmon Bay track is fantastic and ready for next year.
Salmon Bay - What! What! Thank you Ultimate Frisbee parents for all your support this spring season! Whether it was transporting players to Burlington for the Spring Reign Tournament, cheering on one of our six teams every Saturday, or playing against your child in our annual Player vs. Parent game, your positive support has been amazing. It helps the 100+ players keep coming back to ultimate every season.
