A play based on John Wyndam's distopia novel, a few thousand years in the future after a major apocalypse, a new society has taken over. The rules are very strict, and the punishment for disobeying is unthinkable. Fear of invasion from the terrifying outsiders and rebels that live outside of civilized societies keeps everyone following the rules. That is until a group of teens find they are unable to keep their terrible secret any longer.Come join us on this exciting adventure!
Register HERE by February 24th, then submit your $150 activity fee (checks payable to FOSB). Payment plans and limited scholarships may be available for those who need financial assistance. Priority will be given to those who have not received a scholarship in this school year. After that decisions will be given on a first come first serve basis. The drama committee is unable to extend more than one full membership per student per year.

Kudos to Amy Stackhouse, Rachel Gerken, Heather Fuller, Mary Anne Aiello, Frances Kleinsmith, Tracy Wilson, Ramona Walson, Devina McAllister, Justine Park, Christina Coop, Kristin Harper and Alex Jensen for putting on a terrific tour-night dinner for our teachers! Special thanks to Ellie Kessler-Ammons, Tony DeVita and Eric Junes for driving our WEP furniture students home on Fridays so that they get more time in the shop and less time on the bus. We are grateful for the time and effort Meg McNulty and Audra Gallegos invested in the FOSB survey and sharing of the survey results at last Saturday's retreat. |

The auction team is busy gathering donations for the auction on April 2nd, and we need your help.
Create an experience. Use your passions and possessions to create an experience others would enjoy: a photo session, weekend stay in your cabin, Saturday sail on your boat, boomerang throwing lesson, etc.
Host a party. Murder mystery, poker, cocktails, home preserving, Pokémon, jewelry making, or anything else that strikes your fancy.Choose a theme, a date, and the number of guests and then email Barb Jochum to volunteer.
Make the ask. Next time you get a haircut, pay your child's piano teacher, grab a latte from the barista, drop your kid off at ballet, or eat at your favorite restaurant, take a moment to ask for a gift card or other donation. Bring the wine. Donate a bottle of wine ($15+) for the wine grab. Drop wine off on the Cerise's porch: 6508 17th Ave NW. Donation Wish List To help round out some of the fabulous packages we're building, we need: - Husky tickets for four
- Airline miles/tickets
- Band/musician to play music for a private event
- Catering services
Underwriters Wanted
If you're stumped for a donation idea, please consider giving to the underwriting campaign. Financial donations help cover the expenses of putting on the auction. Underwriting checks should be made payable to "FOSB" and dropped off in the Volunteer Coordinator office.

Please join the Parent Information Exchange (PIE) Committee on Tuesday, February 23, from 7:00pm-8:30pm in the cafeteria/auditorium for our next parent education event. Jenni Pertuset will present "Getting Out The Door: Winning Your Child's Cooperation"
See what's behind your child's behavior and what's needed from you - not through "tips and tricks," but with a deeper understanding of emotion and instinct. You'll leave with the power to inspire cooperation rather than resistance, making parenting easier throughout the day.
Geared toward Elementary ages but maybe useful for middle school families too.
