Inspired by a photo of mindfulness teacher Vinny Ferraro, Dave's class created this colorful mural outside of their classroom. Students have been practicing mindfulness and learning tools to stay in the present moment if they find themselves becoming distracted or lost in thought.
Congratulations to the cast and crew of my Fair Lady! How wonderful to see the show and to also hear students singing show tunes in the hallways this week.

Special thanks to Mai DeBlieck for putting together tonight's Multicultural Event. We're looking forward to delicious food and fabulous entertainment.
We're grateful to Ian Whyte and Scott Koch for all their legislative advocacy work, but especially for their letter writing work with our third grade classes this week.

Parking Reminders: Be a Good Neighbor
|
We've had an increase in neighbor complaints in recent weeks. To help us maintain good relationships with nearby residents:
Do not block driveways. Seattle Municipal Code requires five feet between your bumper and driveways (SMC 11.72.110).
Do your part to keep the streets safe for all users. Drive slow, let students off on the curb side of 18th, cross at crosswalks, etc.
Be courteous and respectful if a neighbor approaches you with a complaint.
