Direct Giving Update
Hip Hip Hooray for Salmon Bay! With two weeks left to go, our $65,000 goal is well within reach. As of today, we've raised over $53,000.

If you haven't donated yet, now is the time.

If you've never before donated to a Salmon Bay Direct Giving campaign, this is the year to do it because your gift goes further.

One of our families will pay $50 per new donor, up to a total of $1,000. We need 20 first-time donors to collect the full value of this challenge gift. $1, $10, $20, $100 ... any amount will do! The money raised goes to covering the funding gap in the programming Seattle Public Schools pays for and the programming we want our kids to have.

Please donate today. Participating is easy and your donation is tax deductible (Tax ID: 91-1622350).

Safe Place
You may have noticed the new Safe Place sign on the front door. Salmon Bay recently joined the Safe Place program, a program that quickly connects youth in crisis with resources to resolve their crisis and remain in a stable environment, safe from predators and with appropriate help. National Safe Place (NSP) is currently being implemented in 40 states across the country. As part of King County's Homeless Youth and Young Adult Initiative, YouthCare launched Safe Place in 2011. Salmon Bay is excited to be a designated Safe Place and to partner with YouthCare as a resource for teens in crisis. If you have questions about the program, please contact Gail.
