Halloween Festivities
Costume Guidelines
Students should not wear costumes to school on Friday, October 30th. They will be provided time to change before their Halloween festivities. If your child chooses to bring a costume to school, please make sure the outfit is appropriate.

All costumes should adhere to school dress guidelines for modesty, messages, and safety.  In addition please follow these guidelines:
  • Costumes need to be non-violent in nature - violence is inappropriate at school and other children can be frightened by blood and gore representations. Weapons and toy weapons of any kind are not allowed.
  • Avoid costumes that are dressing up as people from other cultures.
  • For safety reasons please do not include masks as a part of costumes sent to school.
  • Make-up, if used, should not be disguising the identity of the wearer e.g., whiskers and freckles, not face paint.
Elementary Celebrations
The Halloween Parade will be held at 1:40 p.m.  on the upper field/ track. If it is raining, we will move the festivities inside. Many classrooms are also planning to hold celebrations. Classroom teachers will be communicating specific times, activities and volunteer needs to their classes. Questions? Email Jodi.

Enrichment Fees
Has your child participated in a field trip this year? During the school year students participate in field trips, artist-in-residence programs, camps and special class projects. Enrichment fees are due October 30th.
You can find information and make payment on the FOSB Website or pay by check.  Questions? Please contact Jodi.
