Drama Committee Offerings

Wanted: Spectacular forest fairies, orphaned baby animals and terrifying wolves!
The Salmon Bay after school drama program is looking for up to 15 of these magical creatures somewhere at our school!  Do you know a K-2nd grade student who likes to pretend and would enjoy performing in the first part of our K-8 Play, The White Witch (loosely based on the Chronicles of Narnia)

Busy schedule?  Early bed time?  No worries! We created these "Just for Fun" parts for younger children. Actors with these parts finish earlier and have lighter performance schedules.

Rehearsals start on Monday.
An $150 student activity fee is required.

Interested? Want more details before deciding if this is the right role for your child? Email Tara Kaine at [email protected].

Musical Revue Class with Duncan Frost
In this class students will act, sing and dance their way through some of the best scenes and musical numbers from American musical theatre! This class for grades 4-8 focuses on learning core acting skills, vocal technique and commonly used dance combinations while students rehearse a short musical revue to be shared at the end of the course. No previous experience required, but students must be comfortable singing, dancing and acting on their own in a classroom setting. Class begins October 2nd. For details, click here

This week included two field trips, picture day, middle school camp meetings, a welcome back potluck, our first FOSB meeting and more. Whew! Thank you to everyone who helped out. We hope your weekend provides time to rest.

If you know someone who isn't receiving our weekly bulletin emails, have them contact the front office to make sure we have their email contact information correct.
Monday is Curriculum Night
Curriculum Night provides an opportunity to meet your child's teacher, learn a bit about Salmon Bay, and get an overview of what your student will learn this year.

Elementary Curriculum Night 6 pm - 7 pm
