Girls Basketball Camp

Roosevelt High School Girls Basketball Coaches  and the returning Roughrider players invite girls entering 4th through 9th grade to join them at basketball camp this summer. June 22 through Thursday June 25 from 9-3 each day.  More information available here.

Volunteer News and Needs
Field Day Helpers Needed 
We still need volunteers to help with elementary Field Day on June 12th. We also need more water balloons. If you're willing to fill balloons, we will pick them up and deliver them to the school. To volunteer, email Jodi.

Pay It Forward
We are looking for 3rd and 4th grade families to help staff the cake and punch tables at 5th grade promotion so that 5th grade families can focus on celebrating their students. To volunteer, email Jodi.
 
Goldfish Needed
We need donations of goldfish crackers for the middle school dance on Friday, June 5th. Donations can be delivered to the Volunteer Coordinator office

Lost and Found
The lost and found will be donated at the end of the month. Now is your chance to claim what is yours.
Note From The Nurse

It's time to take your medications home. If you have medications in the school nurse's office, please take it home. If you wish to have medicine available next year (15/16), a new  Authorization for Medications to be Taken at School form must be completed this summer and delivered to nurse before the first day of school.

Nepal Fundraiser

Help raise money for Nepal earthquake relief and prepare your family at the same time! 

 

Parents from Amy's kindergarten and Salmon Bay's middle school have partnered on this effort to raise funds for Doctors without Borders Nepal Earthquake Relief by selling earthquake preparedness kits. There are kits for families, individuals, and even the family pet.

Middle School News

Last Nyer Urness House Dinner

Thank you so much for your continued support of our dinners at the Nyer Urness House. There is one more dinner left! To contribute to the dinner on June 8th, please sign up here.  

 

Middle School Dance Snacks Needed
The 6th and 7th Grade dance is just a week away. Donations of goldfish crackers are greatly appreciated. Please drop them off in the Volunteer Coordinator office. 
Middle School Play Tonight & Tomorrow

Don't miss Holes on the Salmon Bay stage tonight (7pm) and tomorrow (2pm). It's a quirky story about an ancient curse, an unlucky boy, a teen prison camp named Green Lake, and the power of friendship. Directed by Tara Kaine with technical support from the After School Drama Tech class.  

 

All performances are free and open to the public.  Baked goods will be sold to support the After School Drama Program.

The FOSB Annual Retreat is Tomorrow!

To create FOSB community norms.

To review and assess three areas of FOSB functioning:

What to bring: lunch for yourself/to share if you want.  

Coffee and tea will be provided. There is an honor fridge with drinks.
