Stages Love Actors

This spring, the Salmon Bay Drama Committee is producing "Holes" by Louis Sachar, adapted by Don Fleming, and directed by Tara Kaine. "Holes" is a story about friendship, courage, standing up for what you believe in, and never giving up. Through this play we will meet and become some of the wildest and wackiest characters that have graced the Salmon Bay stage.

All Salmon Bay Middle School students interested in being a part of the cast are encouraged to audition. To audition you must sign up for a slot through our sign up genius before March 15th. For additional information on the audition schedule and requirements (including monologues and sides), please check out the Drama Committee Website. For more information or to inquire about being a part of the crew, please contact Drama Committee co-chairs, Lori Mudge or Nan Houston.

Our Hallways Love 2nd Grade Art

If you haven't had a chance to see the second grade art on display in the front hallway, please take a moment to check it out next time you are in the building. Kim's class has Puget Sound sculptures on display and Marilyn's class made these fabulous watercolor treehouses:

If you walk down the west hallway you'll see hearts hanging on lockers noting the commitments to compassion Kim's second grade students made:

Volunteer Coordinators Love You

In this special love-themed edition of the weekly bulletin, we want to use our Volunteer Coordinator space to simply say that we love volunteers. We are so grateful for the time and talents you donate to our school. There are many efforts underway (e.g. stage productions, painting, sports, after school clubs, tutoring support, and more) that wouldn't be possible without your help. Thank you!

As a token of our thanks, we are not asking you for anything in our section today. We confess, it's a bit of an illusion since there are several volunteer needs hidden in the sections below. But, we wanted to at least appear to be offering our love without asking for anything in return. It's the thought that counts, right?

The Front Office Loves Phone Calls
If your student is sick, please remember to call the front office to report the absence before the school day begins. This makes mornings much easier on our fabulous front office staff.
Teachers Love Soup

We are still in need of volunteers to bring soup for our teacher dinner on Tuesday, February 24th. If you are willing to contribute, please email Kristina

EventsGatheringsThe AuctionTeam Loves Early Donations

I want to stay involved with FOSB and help keep things moving and positive. I have a positive and cheerful disposition and a desire to see FOSB succeed and head in a more positive direction. I am a hard worker and understand the workings of the school and FOSB having been a parent here for the last 9 years and worked for the school in some capacity for the last 7.  Thanks for your consideration!
