DENIRO EARNS CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS BERTH AFTER SUPER DERBY VICTORY
Deniro sired by JEH Stallion DESIRIO
LOS ALAMITOS, CA-NOVEMBER 3, 2012-Shane O'Leary, Mike Hickman and Scott Brundridge's Deniro outdueled All American Derby runner-up Hez Our Secret by a neck in the Grade 1 $1,000,000 Los Alamitos Super Derby to earn a berth to the prestigious Grade 1 Champion of Champions on Saturday, December 15.
Ridden by Adrian Loza for trainer Jose De La Torre, Deniro left the gate a step behind Hez Our Secret from post number six, but the DESIRIO gelding made up the ground quickly against his rival before accelerating past him for good with 220 yards to go in the 400-yard event.
Deniro, who now has three wins in four career starts at Los Alamitos, covered the distance in :19.409. His only loss here was a second by a nose to Kobe in the Los Alamitos Winter Derby on February 18. Deniro earned $398,160 for this win to take his lifetime bankroll to $450,543.

Texas Classic Derby(G1) at Lone Star Park. Sitting at #5 is PJ Chick In Black, a 2-year-old filly by DESIRIO. A winner of five of six starts this season, the black filly is the industry's top earning 2-year-old filly with $523,339. She won the Ruidoso Futurity(G1), New Mexican Spring Futurity(RG2) and was the fastest qualifier to the All American Futurity(G1). DESIRIO got his second top-ten money earner with recent Los Alamitos Super Derby(G1) winner Deniro who is currently #7 on the list with $438,970. However, this winner of three of six starts could move up the list after his next start, the $750,000 Champion of Champions in December. He kicked off the season with a second place effort, by a nose, in the Los Alamitos Winter Derby(G1). FEATURE MR JESS' Priceless Feature is the #10 leading money earner with $329,572. He won the Heritage Place Derby(G1) at Remington Park and was second in the Rainbow Derby(G1), to Ochoa, at Ruidoso Downs.

CRM LIVEWIRE WINS INAUGURAL MASTERPIECE CHALLENGE PAINT & APPALOOSA STAKES
CARTEL SUCCESS' (JEH Stallion) three-year-old colt
GRAND PRAIRIE, TX-NOVEMBER 3, 2012-Post time favorite CRM Livewire put in a stellar performance to win the inaugural $27,330 Masterpiece Challenge Paint and Appaloosa Stakes tonight at Lone Star Park.
Owned by Dan Jones and trained by Matt Whitekiller, the three-year-old colt by CARTEL SUCCESS, broke alertly from the outside post, and was on his game tonight, crossing the finish line three-quarters of a length in front of SW Eye Candy.
It was another neck back to Spotless Redneck who finished third. Jockey Cody Smith rode CRM Livewire for the win stopping the tele-timer at 19.844 for the 400-yard distance over a fast track.
With the win, CRM Livewire improved his lifetime stats to six wins from 17 starts, and with the winners' share of $16,670, increased his lifetime earnings to $75,460.
CRM Livewire paid $3.00, 2.40, 2.20; runner-up SW Eye Candy returned $6.80, 4.40, and Spotless Redneck paid $4.00 for show. Rawhide Legend, Dosofme, Ivory Queen and BP Cartels Paint completed the order of finish.

FEATURE MY NEWS GETS NEW TRACK RECORD IN QHRAI DERBY WIN SATURDAY
FEATURE MR JESS (JEH Stallion) colt
ANDERSON, IN-OCTOBER 27, 2012-Feature My News picked a great time to throw a race. In the $85,000 QHRAI Derby on Saturday night the FEATURE MR JESS colt broke his maiden and set a new track record for 400 yards at Hoosier Park. He defeated TF First Pick by 1 ¼ lengths with Mucho Fuego finishing third.
Under jockey Shanley Jackson, the 3-year-old completed 400 yards in :19.587 seconds, a 110 speed index. The previous track record of :19.856 was established on October 22, 2011 by Lovemelikethat.
Matt Frazier saddled Feature My News who earned $46,760 for owner Alicia Smith. Five races back the W.W. McKibbin Florida bred finished third in the South Florida Derby at Hialeah Park. He is 1-2-3 in 13 starts and has earned $80,824.
TF First Pick earned $17,000 for his effort. Ron Raper trains the gelding for Donald Jacobs. Steve Tate bred him in Louisiana. Mucho Fuego is leased by Oscar Andrade and trained by Ricardo Martinez. Yordanis Amaro was aboard the Eleana Andrade California bred. He earned $8,500.
Dancing With Ducks, Jhony Red, Pescado Fuerte, Valor And Glory, Successful Dash, Hez Tricky Too and Rapid Ivory completed the field. Mo Zoomo was scratched.
