Josh Cassada, '95, on His Astronaut Candidate Experience So Far
Josh Cassada, '95, part of NASA's eight-member astronaut candidate class of 2013, describes his training experience to date in a video feature the space agency released on YouTube late last week.
The former Navy test pilot, who received his Ph.D. in high-energy physics from the University of Rochester, also talks about his Albion experience. "It was there that I got my first taste of collaborative learning and peer mentorship—and exploration, really," says Cassada, who received the College's Distinguished Alumni Award in 2012.

Darby Williams, ’16, on Her Sydney Semester

Philanthropy Week Celebrates Giving, Founders' Day
Did you know that tuition only covers about 80% of the cost for an Albion education?
Albion’s second annual Philanthropy Week is March 23-27. Philanthropy Week started off as Tuition Free Day, marking the time when tuition dollars run out. Thanks to gifts from generous alumni, parents, friends, faculty, and staff, Albion can continue to provide an amazing education for all of its students.
During Philanthropy Week, students will be able to celebrate Albion’s founding date and learn what it takes to support Albion. They will be learning about the importance of giving, why people give, and thanking those who have and continue to support Albion.
