Albion’s Perfect Season, Now for All Time

None of the experts believed Albion College would be strong contenders for the 1994 NCAA Division III football national title.

Now, the entire Briton family is celebrating the 20th anniversary of that perfect season, which culminated in a 38-15 victory over Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) College in the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl Dec. 10, 1994.

The College is also commemorating the occasion through a new website: albion1994.com, produced in tandem with Grand Rapids-based Full Circle Marketing and Design. The site features a nearly 13-minute documentary-style video with player interviews and footage from several games that season.

He got that advice and support through the College's Smooth Transitions program; now, he's the mentor and helping another first-year student adjust to college life.
