Dr. Mauri Ditzler Receives Dynamic
Albion Welcome

A British Eighth fanfare set the tone for Albion's enthusiastic welcome of Mauri Ditzler, who will become the College's 16th president in July 2014. The current president of Monmouth College, Ditzler was a faculty member and department chair at the College of Holy Cross, and has held executive administration positions with his alma mater Wabash College and at Millikin University.
"When someone asks me what makes Albion distinct, I will give them an answer that I believe in, and that you believe in," Ditzler said. "Together we're going to find those answers and uncover those paths, and build that distinction."

Two Sisters, Two Unique Experiences

Two sisters, two sororities, two majors, two unique experiences -- that explains Haley, '14, and Ali, '16, Hill, a legacy connection that has helped the sisters grow closer and take advantage of a busy campus life.

Nine Days Until Giving Tuesday
There are nine days leading up to Giving Tuesday on 12/3/13. Giving Tuesday is a national movement to celebrate the act of giving back to an organization that has meaning for you. This year marks the first year Albion College is participating. Show your Briton pride on Tuesday, December 3, and help Albion College reach its goal of 123 donors giving back to our students (Hint: 123 donors in honor of 12/3)! Use hash-tags #GivingTuesday or #BritsGive in the memo section when making your gift on 12/3.
Every gift, no matter the size or designation, makes an impact on our current and future students. Follow in our students’ footsteps of giving back throughout the year and help support their future.
For questions visit Albion’s Giving Tuesday webpage, or contact Maria Carr, associate director of annual giving, at mcarr@albion.edu or 517/629-0410.
