City Wading Pools Offer Free Swim for Kids
Both of the City's wading pools are now open through late August for youth ages 7 or younger. The West Beach Wading Pool is open noon to 4 p.m., Monday to Saturday. The Oak Park Wading Pool is open daily from noon to 5 p.m. Both pools are staffed by lifeguards, but children must be accompanied by a parent or responsible person age 18 or older.

Lock Doors and Windows to Prevent Theft
During the warmer summer months, it can be tempting to leave windows and doors open when leaving for a short time to walk the dog or run an errand. Entry in most residential burglaries is done quickly and quietly through unlocked doors and windows, so remember to lock up when you leave home, regardless of the length of time.

Free Bike Valet on Friday Nights
Bikestation Santa Barbara has teamed up with the Santa Barbara Bicycle Coalition to provide FREE bike valet at the Friday night summer movie series in the Courthouse Gardens. Starting at 7 p.m., drop off your bike at Bikestation in the Granada Garage and your bike, bags, lights, and other personal items will be secure.
