The first evening Coffee with a Cop meeting will take place this Wednesday, May 8 at 4:30 p.m. Santa Barbara police officers use these informal meetings to discuss a wide range of quality of life issues, from  traffic and parking to homelessness, graffiti, thefts, and school safety. In addition to giving people the opportunity to meet with police, it also facilitates dialogue among residents from different neighborhoods about common  problems. Read More...
Continued Growth in Hotel Tax 
The City received $1,067,518 in Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) for March, a 12.4% increase over March 2012. This strong growth rate is particularly notable since it builds upon a strong March of 2012 when TOT collections were 15.2% higher than March of 2011. Read More...
