Dell's Desk - Dell Sanders, General Manager
Many of you already know that we lost Pop in March about a year after we lost Mom. It seems to me that when one spouse passes after being married as long as Mom and Pop were, the surviving spouse doesn't stay around much longer. It's sad, but I understand it better now.
Pop retired from the business some 21 years ago. Yet, there was hardly a day when he and Mom didn't show up at the store. They would make the rounds. First, they would chat with my brothers and me. Then they would say hello to everyone in the Service and Sales departments. And so it went. I will miss those daily visits.
Anyway, life goes on. Every day David and Hal greet new and returning customers. Mark schedules their service and repair needs, while Ritchie runs the sales team who are ready to show them new and used RVs on the lot.
When you're in the area stop buy, pour yourself a cup of coffee and say hello. We'll be glad you did. |

Our dealership is like a three legged stool. The Sales, Parts and Service departments each contribute to the success of J.D. Sanders RV Center. And, like Dell above and David below I have been contributing to J.D.'s Digest for more than 4 years. That amounts to more than 50 service hints, tips and fixes since January, 2009
Now, I will also be posting to our Facebook page on a regular basis. I will make it a point to post about interesting service issues and fixes. When possible, I will add a photo to illustrate what is happening.
In addition, I will occasionally post to Facebook from those 4+ years of Service Desk articles.

Part s Desk - David Sanders, Parts Manager
When Pop opened J.D. Sanders Trailer Sales in 1971 he took a risk. It was a risk that paid off. The tiny dealership grew a little bit every year and eventually prospered.
Both Mom and Pop worked hard hoping that the business would be a legacy to their children. Well, it came to pass.
J.D. Sanders RV Center is a successful, independent RV dealer. My two brothers, Dell and Hal and I run the dealership. Dell's wife Shirley keeps the books and pays the bills while two of the grandchildren work here as well.
Because we are totally independent and do not report to any corporate managers we think that you are better served. That is very evident in my Parts Department.
We are not locked in to one source for parts. We order from the very large and the small RV parts distributors. We also order directly from manufacturers. In fact, our traditional parts catalog is from one distributor while our online catalog is from another. Click the catalog icon in the right column to explore.

I'm too new here to have known J.D. very well. But I can say that every time I saw him he had only kind words for me. And, he took a real interest in my department's success.
Of course, you and the friends you refer to us account for our real success. For that I thank you.
