 So the dreaded 21st day of December, 2012 came and went just like any other day. Based upon media reports, TV shows and even the cinema (remember "2012" the movie?) most of western civilization thought the world would end on 12/21/12 all because of so called ancient Mayan prophesy. Everyone except the Mayans that is.

There never was a prophecy. Archeologists found an ancient calendar that ended - if translated properly - on 12/21/12. Well, "hello," maybe there is another calendar still buried that starts up on 12/22/12.  Or, maybe they ran out of stone tablets for carving. Or, maybe someone just said "enough is enough." After all, who really needed a calendar that stretched more than 5,125 years anyway.

So, life goes on. folks continue to stop by. Some buy our RVs, some buy parts and supplies in the store, while others bring their RVs in for service. I predict that this trend will continue into the foreseeable future - not necessarily for the next 5,125 years though.

From all of us to all of you ...have a happy and healthy 2013. If you can, stop by for a cup of coffee, look over our RVs on the lot and peruse the parts store isles. Oh, and please tell your RVing friends about us!

Mud Dauber screens should be an essential component of your RV. Although considered to be a beneficial insect, mud dauber nests can cause havoc to RV systems.

Mud dauber screens prevent these members of the wasp family from interfering with the operation of your RV furnace and water heater.

Recently, we worked on a furnace that had stopped heating and was vibrating terribly. What we found was totally preventable - a mud dauber nest in the blower wheel. Here is a picture.

So, if you don't have these protective screens, come on down to the store. We keep thim in stock.
