The CTPF Health Insurance Open Enrollment Period Closes Today at 5:00 p.m.  

The CTPF Open Enrollment Period for 2013 retiree health insurance will close today.  If you are changing your enrollment or enrolling for the first time, you must turn in necessary forms and documentation by 5:00 p.m.

Changes made during Open Enrollment become effective on January 1, 2013.

Covered by COBRA? 

If you currently have insurance through your former employer's COBRA program and want to join a CTPF plan in January, you may enroll during the Open Enrollment Period. Enrollment from COBRA to a CTPF plan is not automatic. For more information, see the CTPF Open Enrollment Handbook.

CTPF's Open Enrollment central is a good place to start your research. The site has links to forms and a variety of information about current health plan changes and choices.   

The 2013 Health Insurance Handbook and Open Enrollment Guide was mailed to all CTPF retirees the week of September 20. If you have not received your Handbook, you can Click here to view an interactive PDF version of the 2013 Handbook. Health Insurance Seminar Presentation Available Online  

The presentations given during Open Enrollment Seminars have been posted on the health insurance central page at www.ctpf.org. Members can download the presentations and access a Frequently Asked Questions document with additional information. You do not need to register to view the seminar presentation online.
