Eastern Territory

WORSHIP ARTS CONVOCATION

April 5-7, 2013

I had the priviledge of attending the Worship Arts Convocation held at Camp Ladore in the Eastern Territory at the beginning of April. Under the direction of Territorial Creative Arts Director, Carol Jaudes, over 150 delegates were given a weekend of renewal as they focused on the Psalms of Ascent.

The special guest speaker was the South's own Major Willis Howell. We were also proud to have transMission, Marty Mikles, and Bernie Dake as guest instructors for the weekend as well.

It was a beautiful thing to join in worship with our friends in the music and arts of a different territory, and see how the Holy Spirit is working through their lives as well.

We pray a special blessing on the continued ministry on all those who experienced the special worship and training received at the Worship Arts Convocation this month!

Commissioning this year has been given a Music & Arts focus, and the Territorial Music Department are readily planning for all the exciting events that will take place!!

And TCAE are geared up and ready to go!! They have an exciting line up of ministry opportunities throughout the weekend which include:

"Rise Up and Sing"

The kick off script for the Commissioning weekend

"Temple of Worship"

A high energy choreodrama with the Territorial Band, Florida Divisional Creative Arts Ensemble, and the ALM Divisional Dance Group A.I.M. This piece will set the stage of the Cobb Energy Center as a place of worship

"Light of the World"

A beautiful and challenging choreodrama with the Territorial Band and Songsters.

TCAE will not be the only Creative Arts Ministry highlighted at Commissioning this year. Joining with them in ministry is:
