Miracles and Restoration
I just said goodbye to Guido, a great volunteer who separated from his wife 2 years ago. He is in his late 60's.
He told me his brother had invited him to come and stay in an empty house that's near the Panama border where it's very HOT! He had decided to go.
Just 2 weeks ago he and his wife were together at our church and I met her for the 1st time. A few days later, I asked him if there is hope for them to get back together. He very clearly said, "No!"
Now, the wife heard about it the new option. She called Guido and asked for them to talk together. He was completely blown away when she said she really wanted to go with him and move to this new location.
This man who has experienced a miracle in his life just walked out of my office 10 minutes ago. They are moving tomorrow. Yes, GOD still does miracles. The cool thing is that he credits Hogar de Vida and us for his restoration to the Lord. He was not walking with the Lord when he arrived 1 ½ years ago. Now he is right with God and he is right with his wife. Is that cool or what?

Recipe for Restoration
- Go help somebody that needs help.
- Pray for a teachable heart so that when love and hugs and thanks come your way, you are humbled and give the Lord the glory.
- Find a loving caring church that is kind and learn from them and bless others both in and outside the church.

Ben Completes Police Academy Training
Ben is graduating from his Police Academy training on March 23rd.He says it's no big deal, but it's a big deal for us and we want to be there. It's been almost a year since they graduated from college and we want to see our boys. We'll be flying to Florida March 19th - 30th. While we're there, we'll have time with Ben and Josh, and Dena's family as well!
Sadly the timing is bad with Maria's school schedule, so she won't be able to go. Pray! Maria has a 2 week break the end of August and we are exploring the idea of getting up to the Stromstad farm for a visit as well.

Dena's Car Fund Update
Dena's car fund is at $11,783. Right now we are at the upgrade-to-a-newer-used-vehicle level. My prayer is to be able to upgrade her car sometime in 2015. Pray we find one that she loves as much as she's loved her current vehicle, and one that treats her as well as this one has. Thanks for your help.
