Fed governors meet Monday morning to discuss implementation of Dodd-Frank Act amendments to the Federal Reserve Act that would curb the central bank's ability to assist banks "in unusual and exigent circumstances." On Tuesday, the Treasury Department and USAID hold a financial inclusion forum on "ways to foster greater access to safe and affordable financial services." On Wednesday, Fed Chair Janet Yellen speaks at the Economic Club of Washington. And on Thursday, she will testify at a Joint Economic Committee hearing on "The Economic Outlook."
