The Financial Stability Oversight Council will meet on Monday in both an open and an executive session. The agenda for the open session includes an update regarding FSOC's ongoing work on asset management and an update regarding Council member agencies' work related to cybersecurity. The agenda for the executive session includes a discussion of the annual re-evaluation of the designation of a nonbank financial company.

FSOC is back in the crosshairs of the House Financial Services Committee on Tuesday, as the panel is scheduled to take up a slate of bills to overhaul the council's functions.

On Wednesday, Fed Chair Janet Yellen appears before the House Financial Services Committee on the Fed's actions and plans for bank oversight because of President Obama's failure to fill a key post created by the Dodd-Frank Act.
